More than 400 LBUSD high school students and academic officials attended the Long Beach Ethnic Studies Program Conference, which took place on Saturday October 31st, 2015 at the California State University, Long Beach.
The first portion of the conference consisted of a Native American Puvugna Welcome and introductory speeches from CSULB’s President Jane Close Conoley, CSULB’s ASI President Jose Salazar, and LBUSD’s superintendent Chris Steinhauser.
