Jorge Matadamas is a Mexican citizen and was only 4-years-old when his parents brought him to Phoenix, Arizona.  At 23-years-old, Jorge is now living in Mexico and everything about the country is brand new to him. He says, it’s the little things that he misses about his home in Arizona.

Somos Mexicanos, a Mexican organization is working to assist repatriated Mexicans in adjusting to life in Mexico. Somos says, they have received nearly 32,000 returnees this year. Matadamas says, “I had everything back in the US, why not have it here too.”
